Lauren Campbell manages the Coalition's Education and Fundraising Manager. In this role, she plays a lead role in the Coalition's fundraising work, focused on individual donors. She manages our expanded educational program, including popular community forums and walking tours. Lauren also coordinates the Coalition's volunteer program, helping individuals become involved in community or regional initiatives, or to assist the Coalition with its administrative needs. Lauren first joined the Coalition as a volunteer in 2005 while transitioning from the education field. She previously served as Associate Director of Programs for Envision EMI, managing the recruitment and supervision of 22 staff and 260 students for summer educational training. Before that she served as Assistant Director of Admissions and an English Teacher at Abington Friends School. A lifelong Fairfax resident until a recent move to DC, Lauren's interest in growth issues was sparked by her personal desire for communities designed to be more walkable, with a stronger sense of place, and gathering places for all ages.
