We all need access to jobs, services, shopping, transportation and to find adequate and affordable homes. Some lower income neighborhoods lack retail services and jobs and face long commutes to work. Other communities may be rich in jobs but lack a full range of housing options for their workforce.
There are myriad tools for creating equitable development. Policies, incentives, and investments can be designed to balance growth and opportunity across the region. Creating this balance would ensure everyone has access to jobs, housing choices and healthy communities.
