Building Healthy & Vibrant Communities in Prince George's County
The Green Power Coalition's election platform for 2010, entitled "Building Healthy & Vibrant Communities in Prince George's County," is a comprehensive blueprint to improve the environment and economy in Prince George's County and to secure environmental justice for all residents. We've invited all the Prince George's candidates for County Council, County Executive, School Board and State's Attorney to brief them on our vision. Join us in promoting a sustainable future for Prince George's County by educating our future elected officials.
The briefing will include presentations on critical topics discussed in the platform, including:
- Addressing climate change and using clean energy while saving money right here in Prince George's County
- Responsible waste management to cut costs and reduce pollution
- Land use and transportation decisions to build a shared, sustainable prosperity
