Land Use Solutions

The way we use our land determines the health of our natural and social communities. Responsible land use policy, therefore, plays a major role in creating solutions to the social and environmental problems that have been caused by sprawling development.

The solution to land use problems is to promote "mixed-use" development, whereby residential and commercial spaces are integrated. This will improve our communities by creating vibrant town centers and allow us to use land in a more efficient way.
