History of the Inter-County Connector (ICC)


During their campaigns for governor for Maryland, both Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R-Md.) and Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend (D), said they supported building an inter-county connector (ICC) that would connect Prince George's and Montgomery Counties.
In addition, U.S. Representative Albert Wynn (D-4th District) of Montgomery County's firmly supported the roadway (ICC) and a desire to 'study' a second bridge crossing over the Potomac River into Montgomery County.

Since elected to office, Governor Ehrlich has continued to support ICC
