With the new year comes a new budget season. Facing a difficult fiscal year, Arlington County wants to hear how you would like to prioritize the upcoming budget cycle. Please respond to the county’s survey by Fri. Jan. 30th to share where you think the County Manager should focus Arlington’s funding for FY 2027. 

Understanding the significant cuts that will need to be made to the county budget this year, this survey asks you to think about the trade-offs of service reductions, ideas to save money, and options to increase revenue. 

As smart growthers, our infrastructure focus is on street projects like complete streets and transit that increase safety and access to opportunity, as well as county facilities like libraries and community centers that provide essential services. All of our affordable housing and social safety net programs are vital, so we hope you will carefully consider which three are most important to your community.
