Ballston Missing Middle Walking Tour
May 2 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Are you curious how different types of housing fit into a growing community? Join us for an interactive walking tour of Ballston as we explore how the neighborhood’s evolving residential landscape fits into the bigger picture of Arlington’s history and development. This tour will feature the “Missing Middle” – the duplexes, townhomes, and small apartment buildings that bridge the gap between single-family homes and high-rises.
We’re hitting the streets to take a closer look at “missing middle” housing – the duplexes, townhomes, and smaller apartments that bridge the gap between single-family homes and high-rises. We will hear from local leaders and advocates, like Arlington Board Member JD Spain, about the important role missing middle housing plays in our housing ecosystem. Following the tour, we will head to Quincy Hall to continue the conversation over lunch.
