CSG and Montgomery for All Urge County Council to Override Veto of Reappointed Planning Board Member James Hedrick

We were deeply disappointed to learn that the County Executive once again plans to veto the appointment of Planning Board Member James Hedrick.

James Hedrick is an experienced affordable housing professional who has demonstrated the extensive knowledge and care that he brings to his role as a Planning Board member during his three years of service.

Just as we said in 2023, Hedrick brings a valuable perspective on affordable housing policy to the Montgomery County Planning Board and is eminently qualified to serve.

We urge the Council to promptly schedule a vote and affirm Mr. Hedrick’s reappointment to the Planning Board.
