What to know about the University Boulevard Corridor Plan — and how you can help

Dear Friend,

The University Boulevard Corridor Plan lays out in detail how we can, in the years to come, achieve safer streets, a wider and more accommodating variety of housing options, and greater environmental resilience.

At the same time, the level of detail in a master plan (the draft plan is 156 pages!) can be overwhelming.

That’s why we’ve launched a new resource page breaking down the basics of the University Boulevard Corridor Plan, and explaining how you can take action:

We’re in a critical time right now as the Council’s Planning, Housing, and Parks committee prepares for its final planned worksession on this plan on November 4.

The Council is facing major pressure to scale back aspects of the plan related to dedicated lanes for public transit, expanding housing options, and better-connected street grids.

But there’s still time to weigh in! Take action by contacting the County Council in support of the plan—and help someone else take action too by sharing our resource page and alert directly or on social media.

Thanks for all you do,
