Don’t miss one of the last opportunities to share your feedback on the draft Duke Street Land Use Plan before Nov. 13! After many months of work, the city is nearing completion of the plan that will guide future growth and investment on Duke Street over the next twenty years. Now is the time to show support for this great plan and get it over the finish line!
How can I share feedback?
You can review the draft recommendations and share your input via the city’s engagement hub, which features a comment box and a Q&A section. To help you navigate the materials, the engagement hub tabs provide:
- Full Plan Draft: an interactive PDF of the full plan. You can use the tool bar in the left of the PDF area to change pages, zoom in, or search through the document.
- Districts: an interactive PDF of just Chapter 9, highlighting the different districts of the plan.
Staff Office Hours
If you would like to learn more before submitting your feedback, the city will also be hosting virtual office hours in October and November.
Attend Zoom Office Hours:
What’s in the plan?
CSG strongly supports the direction of this draft, which encompasses guidelines for transportation, land use, building heights, and parks in the Duke Street Corridor. It lays the groundwork for a vibrant, walkable community by prioritizing three key solutions:
- Concentrating new homes in mixed-use neighborhoods close to transit
- Upgrading and connecting bicycle and pedestrian routes
- Safeguarding affordability for both community members and local businesses
We hope you will share your support and offer any final thoughts you may have before the deadline.
