TESTIMONY: DMPED 2022-2023 Performance Oversight Hearing
The ANC 3/4G Task Force on Racism’s number one housing recommendation is to build dedicated affordable and workforce housing above the Chevy Chase community center and library. We agree that all these community plans and recommendations are correct — to achieve the city’s goals to address racial equity and create housing equity, we must make the most of the Chevy Chase civic site for affordable housing as we deliver a new library, community center, and public outdoor spaces.

Testimony: Support for Takoma Metro station facilities changes
We are excited to be testifying tonight in support of the proposed changes to the transit facilities at the Takoma Metro station. We’ve been working on reconfiguring the station area, and adding housing and other complementary transit-supporting uses since the year 2000.
TESTIMONY: Support co-locating affordable housing on public land
CSG strongly supports this bill, which will ensure the county is doing its due diligence to pursue opportunities to build affordable housing on public land, and with opportunities for input from the public and the Council.
